A chance to play with the airbrush again, this time with stencils, to create a camouflage effect on a cake, with a tank topper, for someone who is ex-forces and interested in tanks. Luckily not too much detail required on the tank, although I did spend some time studying Google Images just in case, and also some time looking up various camouflage patterns. A bit of practice on sheets of paper with the airbrush was time well spent, and I think I achieved quite a convincing pattern on the cake itself.
As I always attempt to do, I made everything on the cake edible, although I’m not sure who would fancy eating an entire sugarpaste tank, which was just as substantial as it looks!
