For a gentleman who is a big fan of the rock band KISS, and a real challenge for me. The faces are images taken from the solo albums from the band, and all hand painted by me. I looked up the font which the band use (interesting called “Die Nasty”!) and used it to cut the letters out of sugarpaste, and used my new airbrush for the number 50 to give it a colour scheme to match the band’s logo.
The cake went down very well I am pleased to say, so much so that the recipient refused to cut it at the party it was ordered for! At 12 inches square, and a whopping 72 portions, thats a lot of cake to eat on your own…..
