A great order – for a Formula 1 fan (as am I). His birthday present was to be tickets to the British Grand Prix, favourite driver Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes team. As he was going to the British Grand prix the track on the cake is the best representation of Silverstone that I could achieve in sugarpaste! I airbrushed the car, and the cake and the chequered board was individual squares cut out and stuck together – that took a while to do! Almost didn’t want to let this one go…..
