A short notice order, this one! A cake for a 21 year old electrician who supports Manchester United. Given the short time available, I had to keep the design fairly simple, and unfortunately not enough time to order in some red sugarpaste (very difficult to make useable true red sugarpaste), so I know the colour isn’t exactly right for Man U, but nonetheless I was really pleased with this one.
The numbers are also made from cake, and it I finished it with an electric cable (twin and earth!) running “out” of the cake through a grommet and round back to the front again, ends stripped and ready to wire in….
