A huge cake this one, and heavy too. Possibly a bit bigger and heavier than the customer anticipated – it is often difficult from a customer’s point of view to visualise cake sizes from just written measurements at the time of ordering.
Any fans of Homer & Bart should recognise this house. A definite deviation from the norm for me, as I’m not generally a fan of making novelty shaped cakes but his was a challenge set by a repeat customer so how could I refuse? I’m still not a fan of novelty cakes, but was pleased with the result of the hours of work this too.
