These were made specifically for Valentines day, but it occurred to me that they would be perfect as wedding favours too, made to match the happy couple’s colour scheme for the day. Cakepops shaped like roses. Cakepops are crumbed cake, mixed with buttercream to make a sort of truffle textured treat, popped onto sticks and dipped in chocolate – these ones then have an extra layer of sugarpaste petals. Each one is separately wrapped in a cellophane bag, sealed with a twist tie in this case, but for a wedding a little ribbon would be a nice finishing touch.
