Cupcake Gift Boxes

Some examples of gift boxes for which I’ve recently had orders.  I sell boxes of 6, or 12 standard sized cupcakes or boxes of 24 mini ones – I can do all the same flavour, or assorted flavours. One of these was for a 60th birthday gift, simple buttercream swirls with some pretty flower decorations – another

Christening cupcakes and baby shower cupcakes – similar theme for both, but different flavours.  Baby booties and bottles all handmade and piped/painted.


I was pleased to be asked to make a cake for a gentleman that I worked with for about a year before his retirement – the order was placed secretly by his wife and everything was very “hush-hush”! The main cake was fruit cake, because it is his favourite, with cupcakes a mixture of chocolate, 

Mothers Day

Say it with….cupcakes! A perfect gift, these cupcake boxes were made for Mothers Day this year for various customers – mostly lemon curd or raspberry & vanilla roses, with simple but elegent sugarpaste decoration, and gift boxed with a card and ribbon.

Valentine Cupcakes

Cupcakes make a sweet treat for your Valentine, chocolate is probably traditional, but the last gift box ordered was six lemon curd cupcakes, topped with red chocolate hearts.  Roses made out of modelling chocolate made pretty toppers for the others.


These were made specifically for Valentines day, but it occurred to me that they would be perfect as wedding favours too, made to match the happy couple’s colour scheme for the day.  Cakepops shaped like roses.  Cakepops are crumbed cake, mixed with buttercream to make a sort of truffle textured treat, popped onto sticks and 

Wedding Cupcakes

These were made as wedding gifts but would also make good cakes for a wedding cupcake tower, with a cutting cake as a top tier.  One set had a theme of black and white, and I made both fondant and buttercream topped cakes.  The second set had no theme, but I made one each for 


Much talk of “creme egg cupcakes” on various online cake forums, so I decided to give them a go for myself.  These are chocolate cakes with mini creme eggs inside – I also tried using mini caramel eggs too.  Decorated with grass and flowers for a springtime look. I also found some “micro eggs” in
