Teddy Pops

You want teddy bears on sticks?  no problem!  cake pops in the shape of teddy bears’ heads to complete a home-made teddy themed birthday party cake – was happy to oblige and I think they look quite cute too.

Purple Roses

For a friend whose mother would be celebrating her 80th birthday – the favoured flowers were roses, and to avoid looking like a ruby wedding celebration we decided to steer away from red roses and instead go for purple which is one of her favourite colours.   The customer picked a design which grouped the roses

Shoes Galore!

A very lucky 5o year old lady, had these ordered by her daughter and husband, who also apparently filled the house with balloons in readiness for a very special party!  Not only a the main cake in the shape of a shoebox, with a stiletto shoe and a little model of the recipient, but 70

Sparkles

A two tier cake with zebra print, and plenty of bling!  he topper was hand made by me too – I used to love creating things with beads so grabbed the chance to make it myself rather than order one – the 21 was bought in, and the diamante style ribbon was fab.

May the Lego be with you, Luke!

Lego Star Wars is the theme here and this was a lot of fun to work with!  The base cake was airbrushed and I added a “star field” with an airbrush technique that I learnt on the course last year – all with a metallic effect to give it a bit of sparkle too.  The
